Stage crossed the Channel

And only I am left on stage to end the play

Charles Aznavour
Undoubtedly, it has been a tough year for all of us. And it now desperately needs to find its end. Stage, convinced that legitimacy is to be found in endings, has given itself 12 weeks to do so. But also convinced that it is easier to belong in a place where no one expects you to be legitimate, Stage reached London. This is a consequence of a more general lesson: too often is success sought in great accomplishments, when it is actually to be found in low expectations.

There remain only twelve weeks to end the play. Fortunately, we seem now filled with convictions.
